Band Websites;

Nina Nesbitt's homepage is set up so theres access to different things on the website, for example, social media networking icons, twitter, Facebook, blogger and youtube.
Her tour dates are in white on a black background, allowing them to stand out, so them being the first thing you see when you look on the page.
There are several different tabs on the top of the page where you're able to explore the website, finding out information of Nina Nesbitt, looking at photos, live music and shopping for merchandise.

There are oppertunities for you to win concert tickets for one of Nina's gigs in London. As the add for the competition is on the main page it allows more people to see it, its also published well with bright colours, and having 'Win' and 'Nina Nesbitt' in bold and capital letters.

By having social media network icons near the bottom of the page it implies that Nina has all of these social media network sites and uses them regularly. This shows that Nina fits in with the social group of 'Tumblr Kids' as they use these apps regularly.

Here are a couple of Nina's tour dates. The icons of the right are linking to the several different media networking sites which Nina uses.
It also allows you to comment, see the prices, videos, and meet other fans. This is a good social thing which is set up by Nina's record labels, and by allowing fans to comment and meet other fans, it makes Nina look good on her behalf, socialising with fans.

Digipack and poster ideas;

I'm going to be having a 6 panel digipack, as I thought it would be best suited for my target audience as then I could fit some lyrics on one of the panels and I can also fit more photos and information of my artist. I also find that its more interesting that a 4 panel one, which is just like a CD case. As my target audience ranges from 12/13 year olds to about 19/20 I need to keep my Digipack simple and eye catching, so that it would want to make them buy it.

This is my first idea for my digipack.

The front cover of my digipack will be a close up shot of the artist, and the second page being a photo of her playing the guitar with her signature in the bottom right hand corner.

For the tracklist on backcover i'm going to be using the name of songs that Nina Nesbitt has already produced.

1. Way In The World.
2. Stay out
3. Brit Summer
4. Not Me
5. Spiders
6. Dont Stop
7. Boy
8. The Apple Tree
9. Statues
10. Not Interest

The middle pages im going to have a photo which spreads across the three pages, i'm yet to decide if its going to be a scenery picture or a picture of my artist. I might be adding a quote some song lyrics in the left hand corner on the three pages.

This is my first poster idea, which i'm thinking of having a close up of the guitar over the whole page, with 'Poppy Mills' written in a guitar pick.

This is my second poster idea, and the background picture will be a picture of my artist holding the guitar on the left side of the page.

Practice shots;

Camera positioned to the side of the mirror.

Camera positioned where the mirror is. - this will a similar angle for the first 8 shots.

A long shot of the bedroom and Izzy on the bed. (will be playing the guitar)

Location 1;

BEDROOM LOCATION;

(dressing table)
We have closed the blinds here so that we don't get any light reflecting onto the camera.

We closed the curtains to as the room is well lit with just the lights on. Also the camera focus was darker when the curtains/blinds where open.

Hair, Make Up and Outfits.

Today was our first day of shooting and our first day with Izzy. Before we started filming we decided on hair and make up for the bedroom shots. We've decided to go with how Nina Nesbitt has her hair when its down, which its big and slightly wavy.

We took the idea from some photos of Nina, and gave Izzy flicks on her eyes. The gives her more of a "the girl next door/folky" look.

We've decided on a pinky lipstick, which goes well with her outfit.

This is our first outfit, a denim dress which Izzy will be wearing when working in the sweet shop.
Me and Sophie thought it would be better for her to wear a dress in the sweet shop, as it gives off more of a sweeter girly look, rather than jeans and a top.
She will also be wearing an apron in the sweet shop.

This is the second outfit which Izzy will be wearing. Izzy will be wearing this for the bedroom shots. We have put Izzy in a skirt and top for the bedroom shots, to give a very girly feel.

First filming practise - Bedroom shots

We started to film some of our first shots today for our music video. We started to get our model ready by doing appropriate make up on her and styling her hair to match the girly look we were trying to portray. We then picked out an outfit which was casual yet looked colourful and girly. We dressed Izzy in a denim skater skirt and a floral crop skirt with white converse.

Our music video is based in three locations
 - Bedroom
- Sweet shop
- Store cupboard

We had access to the bedroom location today so we started to look through the storyboard and worked out which shots we could shoot and were possible to shoot. After shooting around half of the bedroom shots we were happy with the mise en scene and have decided to keep the same mise en scene for our next filming session.

We lit the bedroom to the best of our ability by having the main lights on and two exra lamps on in the background. After looking back on the footage we were happy with the lighting and we think it is bright enough.

Risk Assessment

There are some risks we will both have to be aware of when filming our music video.

* The wire's from the lamps that we will use to make the shop brighter, will be tied together so it will decrease the chance of someone tripping over it.

* The sweet jars are right back on the shelves to avoid one falling down off the shelf.

* Make sure the floor is dry to avoid anyone slipping on it.

* Make sure the floor is clear of sweets to avoid someone tripping on a sweet.

We will check these points before we start filming to increase the safety of the location.
