Song choice - Stay out by Nina Nesbitt

This is the song that we have both decided to use for our music video. The song is called 'Stay out' by a nineteen year old girl called Nina Nesbitt. She is a scottish singer songwriter. She has a pop/folk genre style to her. We have decided to pick this artist and song because we both like the song and think it is achievable to pull off the style of how the video is portrayed. For example this video is based around Nina and five of her friends going out one night. This therefore means we will have no problem in finding some girls that will be suitable to star in our video. The image that Nina portrays is not as polished as other more mainstream pop artists such as Jessie J or Taylor Swift. For example they are very 'perfect image' with their heavy make up and hair sprayed hair. However Nina's image is a lot more relaxed and casual so will be easier to pull off and create.

  1. The problems you might have in making a video similar to this are
    1. Lutterworth is NOT Edinburgh
    2. You are not old enough to drink (and we don't want any videos which glorify drinking)
    3. It's difficult to film at night without expensive lighting set ups
    4. It's dangerous filming at night
    5. Playing the song outside
